Broadband

We suggest you talk to your broadband supplier to ensure that you have your current settings optimally configured. ReMe works at its best with a good signal.

Broadband InLine Signal Boosters

It is best to have broadband available in all the rooms so that tablets can be used at the bedside.

But the minimum requirement is to have broadband available in the entertainment areas.

You can purchase in line boosers that simply plug into electric sockets to improve reception at a distance from the router.

Tablets

We recommend you purchase an Android tablet. They are cheaper and run applications better.

The brand we recommend is Neocore. They have all the requirements that are mandatory for use with ReMe.

TV Set Top box

If you have a smart TV you will not require this. I you do not then you will need to connect your tablet to the TV using an HDMI cable or a connectivity tool such as Chromecast or Apple TV, or Fire TV.

But a TV set top box will save you the need to connect a wireless enabled tablet to your TV

There are various options. You can simply use an HDMI cable for simplicity, or alternatively it can be connected wirelessly, using one of the methods described in this guide

There’s no limit to the number of Carers you can enrol onto the system, however the number of Service Users and Carers that can be enrolled onto your ReMe depends on the package you choose.
