Connecting Your Family

Welcome to the world of RemindMeCare (ReMe)

On this page we’ll explain how to learn to get the most out ReMe.

We know that it can be hard to be far away from a family member. And that it’s often difficult to keep in touch from a distance. Often it’s especially hard for kids to find common ground for conversation. And to be able to really have a view on the nature and calibre of the care being provided in the care facility is also not easy to assess. That’s where ReMe comes in; by providing you with the knowledge and tools you need to improve engagement, gain reassurance and stay on top of the care process.

What does ReMe do?

It will give you a means to participate in the care process, to monitor care activities, to communicate directly with your family member and to schedule activities. You’ll be able to assist build their My Story personal profile to ensure that their carers can better engage and that ReMe is available should they require admission to hospital.

Is it complicated?

Then, as a family carer, you can build your own My Story profile. That’s a good way to start. No one can see it other than those you show it to. You’ll learn how to upload your own content and to easily source content from the internet to build your personal albums. With this you’ll be able to run personal reminiscence sessions with your family member.

When you’re a dab hand, then you can start to put content into your family members My Story profile, whether family photos or discovered content that will engage them. Or perhaps build a music playlist for them that you know they will love, and which their carers can use.

There are calendars to schedule visits, a means to connect using messaging and skype and you can view reports.
